Yamaha’s superbike launched in India, this is the price!

Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd launched YZF-R1 2018 model in India on Tuesday. The price of this model has been kept at Rs 20.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will be imported as CBU in India. In addition to the new Color Scheme (Black and Blue), updated Quick Shift System (QSS) has been given. Also the Lift Control System (LIF) has been updated. However, the engine of the new Yamaha YZF R1 has been kept similar to the previous model. It has 998cc, liquid cooled, in line four engines which will generate 200PS power at 13,500rpm and a pickup torque of 112.4Nm at 11,500rpm. The new model of the YZF-R1 is the flagship model of the Racing based Circuit on MotoGP Concept.

According to a statement issued by the company, YZF-R1 Yamaha’s YZR-M1 is developed from cross-plane technology, whose cross-plane crankshaft uneven 270 degree -180 Degree-90 degree-180 degree firing sequences provides excellent tankage and linear torque experience. Its compact chassis- provides better suspension with magnesium rear frame, long swing arm and magnesium wheels. Its hi-tech electronic control technology with new quick shift system provides great control.
