Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched a smartphone with the world’s first under-display fingerprint scanner. Earlier, Apple and Samsung were competing for producing this smartphone first. But now, leaving Apple and Samsung behind, Vivo launched the X20 Plus UD. Vivo has partnered with American Sensor Company Synaptic for this. This smartphone runs on Android 7.1 and has a company’s custom operating system.
This smartphone has a Snapdragon 660 Processor of 2.2GHz with a 6.3 inch full HD Plus AMOLED display. The display’s aspect ratio is 18: 9. It has 4GB RAM and its internal memory is 128GB which can be expanded through a micro SD card. It has a hybrid dual sim slot. There are two rear cameras for photography. One is 12 megapixels and the other is 5 megapixels. It has a 12 megapixel camera for selfie. This phone has given extra features such as Face Wake.
For connectivity, it has 4G LTE WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB port and headphone jack. Its battery is 3,900mAh. This smartphone is equipped with Synaptic Fingerprint Scanner, which is called ID 9500. The sale of this smartphone will start in China on February 1 and its initial price is CNY 3,598 (Rupees 36,100). This smartphone is available in just one color variant and that is black, with a frame which is golden.
