Boman graduated from ‘Mithibai College’ after studying from St. Mary’s School, Mumbai. After that, he also worked as a waiter and room service staff at the hotel ‘Taj Mahal Palace’. He has done a job of running a bakery between Novelty and Apsara Cinema in South Mumbai to lend a helping hand to his mother. In 1987, Boman started the work of ‘photography’ and continued the work until he started acting. He started working in films initially by playing little and unnoticeable roles in the movies. Later, he got offered to play the role of Dr. Asthana in Munnabhai MBBS which gave him lots of fame and recognition.
