Second PM Modi and Xi Jinping meet in last 45 days

In April, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suddenly visited China for two-day, and now one and a half months later PM Modi will once again meet the Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the 18th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in China’s Qingdao city when he will meet the Chinese President. The Presidential visit of both the countries will be on June 9.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said, “There will be a meeting between PM Modi and Xi on 9th June. The Prime Minister is also finalizing the meeting with other leaders.”

Officials said, “Modi and Xi will try to apply the decisions which were made during their formal meeting in Wuhan. Apart from other issues, the Summit will focus on mutual cooperation between the SCO members for the position in the sector.”
