Maharashtra: A boat with 40 school children in Dahanu’s beach capsizes, killing 4.

A pitiful incident has come from Maharashtra’s Dahanu beach. A boat carrying 40 school children in Dahanu beach has been capsized in the sea, in which 4 children have died, whereas 32 children have been rescued. According to the received information, when K.L.Ponda school students went to Parnaka, the incident took place at a distance of 2 nautical miles from the coast.

On the other hand, the local administration and the Coast Guard team also reached the spot and rescue operations were started. As a part of the rescue operation, Dornier aircraft and helicopters from Daman have also been launched in order to help the school children.
