According to a government official in India, Pakistan is blocking the Government of India’s gov.in domain. Pakistan last year blocked government websites in May.
According to official sources, the websites of the government of India could not be accessed in Pakistan. The Indian government has often told Pakistan about this, that not to block any websites of the government of India. But Pakistan does not spare a single chance to block Indian government websites.
According to Indian officials, Pakistan is doing so that Indian ambassadors and officers located in Pakistan are not able to see government websites themselves. Apart from this, many complaints have been received by the Indian High Commission in Pakistan, which says that the visa application cannot be downloaded from the Pakistani civilian website.
Most of the problems in visa occur due to the blocking of government websites of India. Those citizens of Pakistan who want a visa to India are facing problems downloading the forms from the websites.
An Indian official said that the number of agents in Pakistan is increasing rapidly, which is helping the citizens of the country fill the visa form using a proxy server. According to officials, the Indian mission located in Pakistan has been facing many problems due to this unneeded decision of Pakistani government.
