IPL Auction 2019 LIVE Updates: Axar gets Rs5 crore from DC, Yuvraj Singh goes unsold

Indian Premier League (IPL) auction 2019 is back to enthrall cricket fans and as many as 351 cricketers are set to go under the hammer. No Indian player is in the highest base price bracket of Rs 2 crore. The venue is new with the Pink City hosting the event instead of Bangalor.

Top names like Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Brendon McCullum and Mitchell Starc will be up for grabs with the player auction for the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League being held in Jaipur on December 18.

-Delhi Capitals buy Axar Patel for Rs 5cr, KKR snap up Carlos Brathwaite for Rs 5cr

-West Indies keeper Nicholas Pooran (Rs 75 lakh) goes to KXIP for Rs 4.2 crore

-Johnny Bairstow (base price Rs 1.5 crore) goes to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 2.2 crore

-KXIP snapped up Moises Henriques for base price Rs. 1 crore

-Gurkeerat Singh goes to RCB for Rs50 lakh. No other bidder.

-Brendon McCullum & Guptill go unsold.

-Even star player Yuvraj Singh goes unsold.Starting at a base price of Rs1 crore, he has no takers in the first round. This is BIG.

– Wriddhiman Saha is out of action for India since the injury. He’s snapped up by SRH for Rs 1.20 crore
