India’s first and biggest ideas platform in the country is now set in West Bengal’s capital Kolkata. Actress Rani Mukherjee attended the India Today Conclave East 2017 session which is organised in Kolkata. During this session Rani said that even though she is brought up in Mumbai but she loves to visit Bengal. On the controversy over the film Padmavati, Rani Mukherjee said that she was not interested in films because she thought that she is not good at acting. According to Rani, her mother awakened her confidence that she could do well in this area. On the benefits that the family received in the films, Rani said that it is not necessary that success in films will be available if you are the child of a big artist or director only. To make your identity in this area, you have to work hard. So there is no basis for debate to get help from the family.
