According to one study, the use of caffeine can increase the lifetime of chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. The studies showed that there is a relation between the dose of caffeine and the death. For the people who drink a lot of coffee, the risk of death is reduced by 24 percent, while the risk of death of those who drink less amount of coffee goes up by 12 percent.
Dr.Miguel Bigotte Vieira of Centro Hospital Lisboa Norte of Portuguese said, “The study shows that drinking more coffee can reduce the risk of death of CKD patients. This can be an easy clinically proven and cheaper alternative. It should now be confirmed in a randomized clinical trial”.
