Good news from Mumbai about ‘Padmavati’ – a sigh of relief among all the controversies!

Maharashtra government announced on Thursday that the government will provide security in the theaters where Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmavati’ will be screened. Minister of State for Home (Urban) Ranjit Patil said that considering the current situation, security will be provided in theaters where the film will be played. Patil also told the media, “All the steps have been taken and to avoid any troublesome incident, we are reviewing the situation on a daily basis.”
This decision was taken by the Maharashtra government after Sanjay Leela Bhansali was provided police protection some days ago due of constant threats on him and his family. At the same time, Bharatiya Janata Party leader and film studio setting and trade union president Ram Kadam has strongly opposed the film. Looks like the makers and cast & crew of the film can finally breathe in peace!
