Gold Coast, Day 9 at Commonwealth Games 2018, one more glory added in the name of India in CWG 2018.Shooter Tejaswini Sawant won silver in the women’s 50m prone shooting event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on Thursday.

Earlier, Indian wrestlers Sushil Kumar, Rahul Aware and Babita Kumari stormed into the final of their weight categories, scheduled to be held in the afternoon. It is the first day of competition for the wrestlers and four are in the battle including the trio in the title clash and Kiran, who will fight the repechage rounds for a chance to wrestle for bronze. Later in the day, Indian women’s hockey team takes on Australia in the semi-final.
