Breast cancer in fat women can be detected late as compared to the fit ones!

Breast cancer knots are not detected easily in the overweight women. In such cases, when the lump becomes very large, then only it can be detected. This is found out in a study by Swedish researchers. Researchers say that fat women should continue to investigate (mammograms) in short time intervals to detect breast cancer, so that they can be treated at the right time.

However, experts have said that more evidence is required to confirm this study. In Britain, women aged 50 to 70 years are called for screening every three months. These are women who have a history of breast cancer in their family. Due to excessive weight, women are at risk of breast cancer, but currently, screening intervals are not decided on this basis.
