Several districts of north Gujarat, including five districts of North Gujarat and Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar received moderate rains. Farmers’ were very worried at late night in Banaskantha, Aravali, Patan, Sabarkantha and Mehsana. Earlier today in morning, there was a cloudy atmosphere in the districts including Surat, Vadodara, Surendranagar, Morbi, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Bharuch, Narmada, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Junagadh and Gir Somnath.
Rain showers at the season of harvesting for farmers
There is a shortage of water in Gujarat, whereas in some areas, farmers are spreading water to save the standing crop when some crops in the state are being harvested like wheat, potatoes, onions, garlic is ready and the farmers are harvesting the following crops. There is a possibility of damage to farmers due to unforeseen rain in such crops. Farmers have become worried due to unseasonal rains.

The state’s financial capital, Ahmedabad, has also seen some rain shower here and there around the city. The city’s area had also seen some showers and cloudy atmosphere like Shivranjani, Shyamal, Vastrapur, Riverfront From midnight to the dawn till this late morning.
