After National Anthem UP cinemas halls to show Kumbh Mela logo

Lucknow, Jan 4: the Yogi Adityanath government has intended for the cinema halls UP  to exhibit the recently unveiled Kumbh Mela logo right after the National Anthem is played prior to showing movies. According to a senior official, the action has been taken by the government to make youths understand the importance of the religious festival. The government has also made it compulsory to carry the Kumbh Mela logo in all government advertising matter, such as hoardings and advertisements. has also made it mandatory to carry the logo in all government publicity material including hoardings and advertisements. The order will be implemented once the cinema halls get the Kumbh Mela logo.

 

The decision comes almost immediately after the Yogi Adityanath government announced that all official letters will carry the Kumbh logo.The logo was unveiled previous month by the UP government. The logo shows a group of Sadhus taking a holy bath at the Sangam in Allahabad and the Swastika symbol. The logo reads ‘Sarvasidhipradh Kumbh’ which means the Kumbh provides all accomplishments. The Kumbh Mela will be held in January 2019 in Allahabad. It was last held in 2013 in Allahabad. The state will devote nearly ₹2,500 crore for the Kumbh in Allahabad in 2019.
